All 4200 midshipmen are housed within the majestic Bancroft Hall for the 4 years they are at the USNA.


Inside is also the Memorial Hall where fallen Alumni are remembered.


Midshipmen live predominantly two to a room.


The 300 acres of beautifully manicured grounds are dotted with commemorative features and artifacts steeped in Naval history.


The total faculty numbers 600, evenly split between 300 civilian and 300 military instructors. It costs the US taxpayer $305,000 for each graduate of the Academy.


The non denominational Chapel under which the remains of John Paul Jones, Americas earliest naval hero, is buried.
